My name is Patrick Eibel, and I’m 30 years old, living in a small town in Germany. My journey in strongman began in 2019, and from the moment I picked up my first heavy lift, I was hooked. Over the past few years, I’ve dedicated myself to the sport, working tirelessly to climb the ranks and test my strength and resilience. My efforts have led me to earn the title of the Second Strongest Man of Germany, not just once, but two years in a row. It’s a title I wear proudly, knowing the intense dedication it represents.
Before strongman, I spent nearly 20 years playing ice hockey, a sport that taught me discipline, agility, and the mental toughness I now bring to every strongman event. Ice hockey laid the foundation, but strongman brought out a whole new level of drive in me. The thrill of competition, the test of will, and the challenge to keep pushing my limits keep me coming back, no matter how tough the road gets.
My motto has always been simple: "Close your eyes and go for it!" For me, that’s what strongman is about, tuning out the doubt, setting my sights on the goal, and giving it everything I’ve got. I’m excited to see where this journey will take me next as I continue to push harder, lift heavier, and represent the strength and spirit of my hometown and my country.
