LEIGH SHAW

I’ve spent the last decade pushing my limits as a pro strongman. Competing for over 10 years, I’ve been crowned Australia’s Strongest Man twice in the under-90kg class and have represented Australia on some of the world’s biggest stages, like the SCL World Championships in Finland, where I placed third in 2017. Just last year, I hit the 12th spot at the Official Strongman Games and stayed in the top rankings with back-to-back performances at the Kaos Classic in 2023 and 2024.

For me, strongman is so much more than just brute strength. It’s about versatility, speed, and conditioning, about mastering every aspect of my physical potential. My motivation stems from a desire to go head-to-head with the best, to put my limits to the test, and to see how far I can push beyond what I thought possible. Training isn’t just preparation; it’s a discipline, a therapeutic grind. The real test, though, happens on competition day, where everything I’ve worked for is put to the ultimate test.

I don’t aim to be great at just one thing; my goal is to excel across every event and challenge thrown my way.
