I’m Laura de Berdt Romilly, and my journey in sports has been one of passion and drive. After years of playing rugby through high school and university, I found my true calling in Strongwoman in 2021, after a year in powerlifting. I loved powerlifting but quickly realized Strongwoman offered the variety and challenge I craved.

2023 was my best year yet, I placed 5th at the Official Strongman Games, 3rd at the PSL u73kg Championships, and reached the top 10 in the Shaw Classic Women's Open. In 2024, I proudly represented Canada at the IPF Junior Worlds, taking medals in deadlift and bench, which marked my debut at the Powerlifting Worlds.

Outside of strength sports, I stay active in rugby, jiu-jitsu, and Muay Thai, always pushing myself to new heights. Strongwoman is my focus, but I’m passionate about competing and excelling across all the sports I love.
