DAVE WALSH

In 2012, I began my career in strongman with high hopes, but in 2014, my journey took a tough turn when I was diagnosed with progressive multiple sclerosis (MS). This forced me to step back from the sport and face serious challenges to my mobility and mental health.

Determined to return, I made a comeback in 2017, driven by a renewed resilience. Since then, I’ve won two world titles and two national titles in adaptive strongman and claimed victory in the seated class at the Adaptive Highland Games. In 2021 and 2023, I was crowned Britain’s Strongest Disabled Man, and I’m proud to hold the title of World's Strongest Adaptive Man for both 2022 and 2023. Additionally, I set a Guinness World Record for the Heaviest Wheelchair Vehicle Pull.

My journey through MS has taught me to persevere, and I hope to inspire others to push past their own obstacles and keep reaching for greatness.
