About Jerry Pritchett
Jerry is one of our American athletes, who also goes by 'The iron Outlaw'. The nickname comes from his "years at the gym moving iron and in a metal fabrication shop as well and Outlaw comes from always doing things my way and a little out the lines..."
At 41 years old Jerry has been in Strongman for quite a few years, he started powerlifting at the early age of 15 and competed in his first Strongman Competition when he was 27. At 6ft4" weighing in at 330lbs the Iron Outlaw consumes between 7,000-8,000 calories per day and trains 5-6 times per week. Deadlift being his favourite exercise.
Jerrys goal for the end of 2022 is "to be back in top form" as he has "battled a lot of injuries in this past year." Despite that, he has got some serious career highlights. Such as deadlifting 1031lbs at The Arnold Strongman Classic and finishing 3rd overall in 2017. Plus coming 4th in Worlds Strongest Man 2020 after not competing in that competition since 2015. He aims to podium again at Worlds Strongest Man in the future.
