About Graham Hicks
Graham Hicks' nickname 'Hixxy' is self explanatory. He is a man of few words.
He is 36 years old, with his career highlights being winning Britain's Strongest Man in 2019 and making the World Strongest Man finals.
Hicks has always been a keen sports advocate, football in particular. He gained an interest in strongman during his early twenties and first began competing in the U105kg class where he made his debut as he is 5ft 10". After bulking up and adding huge mass to his frame, he now weights in at around 150kg.
His favourite thing to train is the Overhead Log Press, which isn't surprising as he is renowned for his massive static strength. In 2020 he set a British record of 220kg in the overhead Log Press while competing at Europe’s Strongest Man.
His favourite Silverback Gymwear product is of course his own athlete tee! The Hicks Power T-shirt. He says he would love to see us make a Silverback Gymwear Bandana, and his goal for the future is to get that 230kg Log PB!
