After giving birth in 2018, I started going to the gym just to lose weight and regain my fitness. What began as a casual commitment quickly turned into a passion for weight training, and within months, I was hooked on getting stronger and pushing my limits.
Soon, I learned about a local Strongwoman competition and decided to jump in, even though I’d never competed before. To my surprise, I took first place! That unexpected win ignited a love for strongwoman, but I quickly learned it could be an expensive sport. I managed to enter one more event before global lockdowns paused everything.
In 2021, I faced a huge setback when I fell down a flight of stairs, fracturing three vertebrae. Doctors told me my strongwoman days were over, but I refused to accept that. I worked hard on my recovery, aiming for the next England’s Strongest Woman qualifier—until I suffered another blow, tearing multiple ligaments in my knee. The journey was grueling, but giving up wasn’t an option.
While raising my son and running my own business, I devoted myself to rehab. After months of hard work, my persistence paid off when I won England’s Strongest Woman in 2023. My message? Never give up on your goals. Discipline and focus will see you through any obstacle.
