About Evan 'T-Rex' Singleton
Evan is one of our American athletes, gaining his nickname 'T-Rex' from the claw tattoos he has going up both his hands from middle and index fingers up to his wrists.
At only 29 years old, Evan has won a few Giants Live Competitions. Including North America 2019, World Open in Manchester 2021 and Arnold UK 2021. Deadlifting up to 1000lbs in competition and being on the podium consistently.
Evan first got into Strongman because he had just done a bodybuilding show and wasn't interested in continuing. He wanted "something competitive and weightlifting related" so he tries strongman and "fell in love with it instantly". He aims to be the most successful and accomplished strongman by the end of the year.
He is currently training 5 days a week and eating a huge 8,000-10,000 calories per day to maintain his 350lbs frame. Standing at 6ft 6" tall, he's one of our bigger athletes! His favourite training day is back and biceps because that's when he deadlifts, that's what he most looks forward to.
His favourite Silverback Gymwear product is of course his own T-Rex Cap and T-shirt, he would love to see another "beautiful T-Rex shirt with a new awesome design that people will love".
